Ladies Raleigh Bikes come in many types, models and frame sizes. Starting with the standard three speed model, with 700c wheels. These come in 15" and 19" in either steel or alloy looped frames, for easy getting on and off. They also have front baskets and rear carriers, on which you can fit pannier bags or rear baskets.

Frames are of alloy or steel, 98% of all bikes come with V type brakes, and the main advantages of hybrid bikes are that they have narrow section wheels, is 700 x 35 or 38mm tyres on 700c wheels. Next in the line for the Ladies Raleigh Bike comes mountain bikes, built with rugged frames and made of alloy or steel, however, there are not so many steel frames as alloy is lighter. The alloy bikes come with better components, most models come in frame sizes from: 14", 15", 16" 17" 18", 19", 20" and from: 6 sp, 18 sp 21sp 24sp 27sp gear. The most popular bike in the range is the Raleigh AT10, which comes in 14",17",20" alloy frames,  has 21 speed Shimano E Z shifters and front suspension. The next model up in the range is the AT20, which boasts 24 speed gears, Shimano EZ shifters, adjustable front forks, A Head handlebar stem. Included also are double walled alloy rims, which make the bikes wheels much stronger - very highly recommended for off road cycling.

In addition to the above ranges, Raleigh produces the Voyager range. These are Hybrid type mountain bikes, with comfy saddles, and suspension seat posts, they also have higher front end bars, so you can sit up straighter, and not have to lean forward. Sizes include: 15", and 18" frames.

Another range of cycles which are for both ladies and gents are the small wheeled cycles. These bicycles come with 20" wheels and are adjustable with long seat posts. They are fitted with three speed hub gears, or six speed deralier gears. Also in the range is a shopper style with basket, which has a solid frame, although the most popular is the folding type, where the bars and frame fold away, making them ideal for commuting, as well as storing in car boots, caravans and boats .
